Thessaloniki

The Thessaloniki facility is located in Dendropotamos, on a privately-owned facility of 70,000 square meters, and is connected through pipes with the Industrial Facilities of HELPE in Kalochori Thessaloniki.

The total storage area is approximately 144,000m³ and daily distribution capacity with tanker trucks can be over 5,000m³ over an 8-hour operation.

There is a total of sixteen (16) ground fuel tanks. Refueling takes place through 2 underground 18’’ and 20’’ pipes, about 3,000 meters long, that connect the facility with the HELPE facilities of Kalochori, at a speed of 800m³/hour. Moreover, the facility is connected with the mooring pier for tankers, in the sea area on the northeast side of the Thessaloniki Bay, with a 20’’ pipe.

Tanker trucks loading takes place in fully automated bottom loading systems, at a speed of 120m3/hour per product and simultaneous service ability, on the 7 loading hubs, for up to 18 trucks per hour of operation.

The facility has a Vapor Recovery Unit, state-of-the-art pumping station, and fire extinction water tank, while it is fully compliant with the corporate health and safety regulations, meets all environmental legislation requirements, and is certified by ISO 14001.

The Thessaloniki facility serves the supply needs of Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, Epirus and Thasos.
